Description of works

Priestley Construction has been awarded the build contract to convert the upper floors of this building into 30no. apartments. With tenanted retail units on the ground floor, we will have to work around an active site with regular visitors. A detailed health and safety framework has been put together to ensure this remains a safe site, in accordance with our very strict health and safety policies.

This is a 26-week build with the end goal being some of the best apartments in Bradford city centre! We will keep you updated.

    Project progress update – James St Apartments

    We are 8 week into our construction programme here. Full demolition and strip out is complete. All floors have been levelled with new acoustic floating floor laid to each level. Our partition walling is 50% complete with boarding going up and first fix electrics and plumbing well underway. We are on course for our predicted Q2 completion here. 31 flats and 3 ground floor retail units!
