A complex conversion that consisted of a row of former townhouses in Sunderland city centre. Grade 2 listed with many hidden original featured.

All being used as offices over the past 20 years with many different changes and construction. Our first job was to demolish these old ad hoc construction elements, uncovering many original features. We then had to complete a serious of propping work in order to stabilise the building with a massive amount of steel going in to make it structurally sound. We then went to work on creating an additional level which again came with its own difficulties in a busy city centre location and listed building

We then started the internal fit out to create 65no. apartments. Considering the difficulties uncovered, our teams did a fantastic job to recover programme and complete on time.
