As a Leeds-based construction company well established in the North, in more recent years we have focused our attention towards expanding our offering on a nationwide scale.
The natural next step for Priestley Construction was London. In 2018, we announced that we would be opening an office in London to support our ongoing projects in the capital.
Our first London-based contract win was the Islinghaus Apartments, Angel. This was an unmissable refurbishment opportunity, located in a high-demand residential area.
A former pub, this conversion saw the creation of three bespoke, premium apartments. From late 2018 and into the spring of 2019, our teams worked tirelessly on-site to ensure every element of this build was executed to an optimum standard. Ultimately, we delivered our highest specification scheme to date.
This success of this project meant we were soon awarded a number of other contracts, including one private residency project in Kensington. Works to this impressive fit-out are progressing well, and include major internal and external changes.
The potential for businesses like ours in London is unparalleled, though the built-up nature of the city often limits new-build opportunities. At Priestley Construction, while we have a long-standing new-build portfolio, we specialise in conversions and refurbishments.
